Call for Submissions: The Geneva Digital Health Day

We are pleased to announce that the gdhub is partnering with the Geneva Health Forum and the World Health Assembly for a second edition of the Geneva Digital Health Day.

The forum will take place at Campus Biotech and will provide a unique platform for healthcare professionals, innovators, policy makers and academics to share insights, experiences and solutions in the field of digital health.

Submission Categories:
1. Individual Presentations (10 minutes): Showcase your research, case studies, or innovative ideas in digital health.
2. Panels (20 minutes): Participate in dynamic discussions with experts, focusing on pressing issues and emerging trends in digital health.
3. Workshops (1.5 hours): Conduct interactive sessions imparting practical skills, methodologies, or collaborative problem-solving approaches in digital health.
4. Solution Pitches (5 minutes): Present your innovative digital health solutions and prototypes, ready to make an impact in healthcare.
5. Posters : Present your research paper or innovative project.

Core Thematic Areas:

We are interested in a wide range of topics, including digital health equity, privacy and security, innovative solutions, public health informatics and surveillance, regulation and responsible digital health practices, and more, which may fall under one of these tracks:

1.Exemplars in Digital Health:
In collaboration with the Center for Global Digital Health Innovation at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and Exemplars in Global Health Program, we invite submissions from digital health programs that have seen significant success in scaling nationally. Submissions should include details of the programs, the current scale, and a summary of critical learnings of the drivers of success.

2. AI for LIFE:
In collaboration with AI for Life by Artefact, this track focuses on practical applications of artificial intelligence in healthcare.

3. Space and Global Health:
In collaboration with partners of the Space and Global Health Network(SGHN), this track highlights the role of space technology in addressing global health challenges.

4. Implementation Science and Policy:
In partnership with the Fondation Pierre Fabre , this track bridges evidence and action for scaling digital health solutions. Submissions should address themes such as digital health equity, data privacy and security, innovative solutions, public health informatics and surveillance, regulation, and responsible digital health practices.

Submission Guidelines:
• Abstracts must be original and not previously published.
• Include a brief biography and contact information with your submission.
• Adhere to the time limits for each category.
• Collaborative and interdisciplinary submissions are encouraged.

Submission Deadline: 6 of January 2025
