Description

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are gaining prominence in both basic and applied research, particularly in clinical applications such as cancer and cardiovascular diagnostics. Among these, a subset known as muscular miRNAs (myomiRs), including miR-1, miR-133, and miR-206, exhibit explicit expression in muscular tissue. This study focuses on the identification of myomiR expression along with specific inflammatory biomarkers in response to early-stage muscle damage. Participants, aged 18 to 35 years, will undergo blood sampling for biomarker analysis, while physiological parameters such as dynamometer measurements for lower and upper limbs, body composition, and fat percentage will be assessed. The results of this investigation are anticipated to provide valuable insights into the intricate interplay of myomiRs and inflammatory markers during the early phases of muscle damage. This data contributes to the existing literature, offering a foundation for future research endeavors aimed at addressing the challenges of muscle damage, with potential implications for athletes and individuals engaging in vigorous exercise as part of a healthy lifestyle.
